this shot was taken in 2006 during the CPE labor protests in Paris (check wikipedia ! :) )
and this is one of the many arrests that occured during the confrontations between police and ... the people.

it is shot with a canon 20d and a 50mm f/1.8

Wow ! Je suis allée voir les autres photos sur ton sites. Chacune d'entre elles a son atmosphère, forte, presque encombrante pour certaines, ce genre de sentiment qu'on garde avec nous. Vraiment je trouve que tu fais des oeuvres superbes !

it does yeah, very much out of context... photos like that are sometimes a bit tricky because they express something that is not necessarily the truth but rather something the people want to think.
an idea rather than ... anythign else.
