Artist's Comments

the dalai lama came to paris today, and this morning he met the tibetan community in a hotel. She is a tibetan woman. :)

this is not a set up, she sat on this couch and i had noticed how this place could be a photogeneic spot... so when she sat i asked her if i could take a photo and she held the baby next to her face, smiling, i took a few shots and turned around, and when i looked back again she was in that position, so i took another photo.

wow, very very good

is the lighting natural? I mean just the lighting and the vertical repetition of elements beg to be photographed.

but then the painted woman vs the tibetan mother make up the juice of the pic.

Ironique quant on lit ton commentaire.

That's incredible. If not for your artist comment I would've thought that the scene was set up. I'm curious- what brought you to be there at that perfect moment?
